Fearless Ambassador
Ephesians 6:19-20 (ESV) and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. Fear: 1. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid. 2. Concern or anxiety; What are you afraid of? What are other believers seeing through your actions? Romans 12:1 (ESV) James 2:26 (ESV) James 2:18 (ESV) Believe that you have something to give ! Ambassador: The Hebrew word for Ambassador is “Tsir” meaning “One who goes on an errand”. This is also the rendering of “melits”, meaning "an interpreter," and of “malak”, a "messenger," This is the name used by the apostle Paul as designating those who are appointed by God to declare his will Do you come to church to serve or be served? I Peter 4:10-11 (ESV) Acts 20;35 (ESV) Mark 10:45 (ESV) You were made for this ! We are called to be bold, to be fearless as we go through our life, to server one another, just like we would server ourselves, to love one another as we would love ourselves.
