Pastor Ben continues the series on 2 Timothy, encouraging us to make ourselves of good use to God.
The challenge of this message is to become students of the Word of God. As we know the truth, we can identify false teachers and ungodly philosophies. Paul's charge to Timothy was to know the truth, teach the truth and rest in the truth.
Pastor Bill continues the series on 2 Timothy. In 2 Timothy 2:1-13, Paul gives Timothy an invitation. That invitation was to join in suffering for the sake of the Gospel. This isn't a popular message in today's church. We want it easy. We want the blessings. We don't want suffering. Yet the way of the believer will be the way of suffering. Our response to suffering will allow us to trust Him deeper and to be a witness to those around us.
Communion literally means "sharing." It's breaking bread together. The word "communion" comes from King James Bible translation of the Greek word for "sharing".
