Pastor Paul reads two journal entries from the congregation on how God has been moving within their lives over the past month. He talks about how our story (Our testimony) and how we see God at work in our lives is a powerful tool given to us by God. 
2 Corinthians 6:3-10 (ESV)
3 We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; 7 by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8 through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything. 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV) 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Journal Entry #1 "Through the Grace of God I've been able to share with someone else who now having a daughter go through medical problems. Weep with others. God helps us with our sadness through helping others. This means He helps us to rejoice in Him. He is always the answer." Journal Entry #2 "We needed to get back to church, together, not individually. The connection we have to each other came from our joined connection to God and we cannot reconnect without Him. We have taken the first steps and we're looking forward to the rest of the journey, together." Ephesians 5:21 (ESV) 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. If you cannot do it here, what makes you think that you will when you are someplace else? Acts 1:8 (ESV) 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Comments are closed.
