Minds: We think that when someone makes a big deal about me means they truly love me. The Danger of Pursuing Self Romans 1:22-24 John 3:19 We succumb to the fallacy that God is a cosmic killjoy. Look at our 1st Parents in Genesis 3. Trivial Pursuit vs Eternal Pleasures There is a quality of happiness found only at the foot of the CROSS. We need the miracle of the Gospel to awaken us. Christ redeems us, beyond our capacity Christ gives us new life beyond this Christ gives us new desire, beyond our thoughts Luke 9:23 Eternal Pleasures Chasing Hard After God Meaning delight in Him, Treasuring him Psalms 37:4 Joy in God is in the heart of the true followers.
