Pastor Paul continues with the book of Jonah. He speaks about knowing the good that we ought to do and actually going out and doing it. We can no longer sit on the sidelines and shelve our beliefs and convictions. 
Jonah 1:2 (ESV)
2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it, for their evil[a] has come up before me.” PREACH AGAINST IT ! Value the person over what that person provides for us. James 4:17 (ESV) 17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. Philippians 2:4 (ESV) 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. I John 2:15-17 (ESV) 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh andthe desires of the eyes and pride of life[a]—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. The world and it's desires will pass away. "The mark of an effective church is not how many people come, but how many people live differently as a results a result of having been there." No more "Coatrack" Christians ! I Corinthians 1;18 (ESV) 18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Romans 3:23 (ESV) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:10-12 (ESV) 10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” Comments are closed.
